Rating: 91% (from 1 review) finds the best prices for you to buy a new or used Canon 60D. With lots of options when it comes to finding the best store to buy from, lists stores where you can pick up a new Canon 60D as well as merchants that sell refurbished or used Canon 60D models.

The Canon 60D was first launched in 2010 with much fanfair as the cutting edge Canon prosumer digital SLR camera. Sitting comfortably in between the consumer level Canon digital SLRs such as the Canon 600D, and the professional alternatives like the Canon 5D Mark III, the Canon 60D offers the best of both worlds with superior build quality as well as an attractive price tag.

With the ability to snap photos at a respectable 19 megapixels, owning a Canon 60D will enable you to produce prints at 300pixels per inch at the size of around 18x12 inches. If you were to lower the quality of the final Canon 60D image to 150 pixels per inch, you would be able to generate a photo of 35 x 23 inches, a great size for hanging on your wall at home!

It is possible to save quite a bit of money by purchasing a used or refurbished Canon 60D. The disadvantage of doing this being the 60D would probably not come with a warranty, however this can depend from store to store. If you're thinking of buying a used Canon 60D from an individual seller, then make sure to check the seller's feedback ratings. These can often be an invaluable aid in helping you to decide whether a cheap Canon 60D is worth putting an offer on.

One of the advantages of going for a prosumer level Canon camera is the superior build quality. The Canon 60D body is metal which makes it far better to withstand the odd knock or two, but as with any expensive piece of photographic kit it's probably best not to drop it!

Delving deeper into the inner workings of the Canon 60D, the camera uses a cropped sensor which makes it ideal for nature photography allowing you to take photos at what feels like a greater magnification. For wide angle landscape photos however, it's a good idea to pick a focal range slightly larger than what you would for a full frame camera. Something like the Canon EF-S 10-22mm would be a good option.

The lens mount for the Canon 60D means it can take both Canon EF and EF-S lenses. So there's certainly no shortage in options for picking the perfect lens for your SLR camera!

As the digital camera has been available for some years now, the Canon 60D price has been steadily dropping, with more and more cheap Canon 60D used models flooding the market.

If you're still contemplating whether or not to buy a canon 60D, another great feature is the flip out screen. This makes macro photography a doddle as it means you no longer have to look through the viewfinder at an uncomfortable angle to line up your shot.

Another great feature of the Canon 60D is 'live view' mode. Live view mode allows you to use the LCD screen at the back of the camera instead of the viewfinder. This can make it considerably easier when setting up your shot.

So whether you're looking to buy a new or used Canon 60D, will try to find you the best deal.

The EOS 60d has a body design that makes sense to someone who is buying it not entirely for the still photography but who is equally interested in the Digital Video mode. The variable angle monitor makes taking those video clips at odd angles so much easier. It really goes a long way tp enhancing the feeling that this camera is as capable as a video camera as it is at stills. The hardware is a whopping 18 mp, and it shows in the image quality. The pictures are clear, crisp, and colour perfect. You would be hard pressed to find a 'pro-sumer' level camera with as many functions, in such high quality.
