A real good inspiration and we guided tutorial for some beginners.

Although I suggest to you beginners: Make sure you also can reproduce your logo in vector! In programs such as Illustrator. The reason being – 99% of the time you wil rasterize your work in photoshop, making it almost useless for print and other applications. Also you may have trouble resizeing it as it will pixilate.
